It's official: Apple will announce its next iPad on Wednesday, March 7. If Apple follows the same pattern as with the iPad 2 launch, they will go on sale 9 days later on Friday, March 16th.
Some of the features expected in this version include:
Improved display - maybe 2048x1536 pixels
Faster processor - possibly a quad-core A6 chip
Support faster LTE data networks (4G)
Bigger battery and improved camera
If you don't want to stand in line for days or be frustrated when online stores sell out in a blink of an eye, you may want to consider getting an iPad 2. Most stores are having sales to rid themselves of inventory in anticipation of the iPad 3 launch.
